Automotive Forums. I have a Chevy Silverado Pickup with a I have been getting a PO Code and the check engine light stays on. I have replaced the O2 sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 that it refers to. I have been told that is the drivers side O2 Sensor after the cat.

This sensor has been replaced twice and still same error code comes back up after being reset. I have been told that I have a wiring issue. Does anyone have any ideas on this issue or know where i can find a wiring diagram of this area so that I may test each wire?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have tried and tried with this and am losing patience. The P is for H02s bank 1 sensor 2. Bank 1 is the drivers side exhaust system and sensor 2 is the one after the cat. However some light duty 5. So, are you sure the correct sensor is getting replaced? There are 3 wires. The pink one is 12 volts in the run position to heat the sensor and is powered by "ENG 1" 20a fuse 21 in the underhood fuse box.

Sure enought that was my problem. I had replaced the O2 sensor according to what everyone else had told me. I replaced the opposite side rear sensor and my idle went back to extremely smooth. Now we will see how the gas milage goes back up. I thank you so much for the help!Idles ruff only when stop hold the brake.

Find and clean all the ground wires, battery to frame, frame to engine, engine to the body. Clean the throttle body, check for vacuum leaks. It is easiest to clean everything with the throttle body off the engine. Then you can check the base gasket to see if it is good or not.

Should also change out the fuel filter. Krazyace answered 2 years ago. Thanks, ill check the grounds. Everything else are new.

Hi all, so I will try to break this down the best I can. I bought a used with tbi from the bone yard from a suburban. I had my brothers coworker instal it. I have replaced A LOT on this truck and I am having engine hesitation and it dies while taking right turns. What is needed officially for the swap? I put injectors in it spark module for although I hear they are the same from to I have not replaced knock sensor yet and I am wondering about the computer chip replacement process.

Once at home I glanced under the new truck and spotted red shocks. Aren't Bilsteins supposed to come on the Z71s?

Little back story on the truck, it was this guys brothers who passed away, he parked the truck and it sat for over a year.

I went to look at it wouldn't start, i noticed a spark noise which i then saw coming off the distributer was chewed through by a rat. He grabbed one from another truck and it started right up. Truck was misfiring badly, which it threw the could p Could the gas that is in it atm be bad we put a gallon of fresh gas in but still running rough. Do you have a scanner that can read misfire counters? How long have you let it run after getting it started. Try adding more gas to it. Do you know if any pc software i could use? The gas itself could be the cause and as Cheryl suggested, could have fouled the injectors.

I would recommend you syphon the tank and put fresh gas before moving forward. Thinking out loud always helps me in the process. Okay i put 5 gallons in still running rough cleared core came right back. Im going to check the plugs. Going to run down to the auto parts store and grab new plugs and wires. Before I started doing some testing I changed some parts. Here is what has been replaced to try and stop this misfire: spark plugs, spark plug wires twice, distributor cap twice, rotor, ignition coil, EGR, CTS on intake manifold, coolant temp gauge sender, fuel filter, fuel pump, MAF sensor, oil change.

Here are the tests I've done so far fuel pressure test, fuel pressure psi while running, then shut off for 20 min and fuel pressure was at PSI.

Dry Compression test on all 8 cylinders between psi. A week ago bought one of those obd2 code readers for the cell phone and here is the info from when the code appeared, that is Pand P, Calculated engine load So yesterday disconnected negative battery cable to shut engine light off, Drove it today CEL came back on and hooked up obd2 reader again here is what it says this timeP with no P code, engine load I don't know what else to check maybe the spider injection, I'm all out of ideas. Thanks for taking the time to read this mess.

Last edit: 03 Aug by Steven Reason: fixed. Dude, psi of fuel pressure is extremely high, perhaps even impossible. I would suspect your pressure gauge. Dead head pressure may reach psi. This assembly is readily available and actually cheaper than the stock setup.
